Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PillNet is an online platform that connects drug warehouses with pharmacies and pharmacists in Jordan. It is owned and operated by Lusail Information Technology LLC (شركة لوسيل لتكنولوجيا المعلومات ذ.م.م), a Jordanian company registered with the Companies Control Department under registration number 68203 and national establishment number 200194410, headquartered in Amman. The company is responsible for the data described in this policy.

This policy applies to:

• The PillNet app for pharmacies and pharmacists (Android and iOS).
• The PillNet Warehouse app for warehouses (Android and iOS).
• The web dashboards under the pill-net.com domain.
• This website.

The platform is for licensed pharmaceutical businesses and their staff. It is not directed at consumers and does not collect any patient health data.

2. Data we collect

Data you give us when registering and using the platform

• Account data: name, phone number, email address, password (stored hashed; we cannot read it), country, governorate, area and street.
• Business data: pharmacy or warehouse name, its location on the map, working days and hours, and licence or trade-registry details and images.
• CV: the qualifications, experience and files a pharmacist enters or uploads when building a CV or applying to a job.
• Transaction data: orders and their contents, offers, wallet movements and commissions, points, rewards and vouchers, on-account requests, sales missions and ratings.
• Correspondence: what you send us when you ask for support.

Data collected from your device

• Notification token: an identifier issued by your device so we can deliver notifications to it.
• Location: only when you choose to set your business location on the map and grant the permission. We do not track your location in the background.
• Photos and files: only those you choose to upload (such as a licence image or a CV file).
• Basic technical data: app language, and standard server logs (IP address and request time) for security and troubleshooting.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect or store payment card numbers.
• We do not access your contacts, messages or microphone.
• Our apps contain no advertising SDKs and no third-party tracking tools.

3. How we use your data

• To create your account and verify your identity and your business licence.
• To process and track orders, and to calculate commissions, rewards and wallet movements.
• To enable communication between warehouses, pharmacies and pharmacists.
• To show you relevant products, offers, jobs and missions.
• To send notifications about your account and orders, and announcements you have not muted.
• To protect the platform from fraud and misuse, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal effect on you, and we do not sell it to anyone.

4. Who we share your data with

The other party to a transaction

Some of your data is automatically shown to the other party in any transaction you make on the platform. For example, a pharmacy's details are shown to the warehouse when it places an order, and a CV is shown to the advertiser when a pharmacist applies to a job. This is a core part of how the platform works and cannot be turned off.

Service providers

These providers' servers may be located outside Jordan. We use them only to operate the platform.

Authorities

We disclose data when there is a binding legal request from a competent authority in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and only to the extent required.

We never share your financial data or login credentials with anyone outside the platform's own operation.

6. Advertising measurement on web pages

Some of our public web pages, such as the warehouse sign-up page, may use a measurement tool from Meta (Facebook) to understand how our advertising campaigns perform. This tool is limited to those pages and is not present in the mobile apps.

7. How long we keep data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After an account is deleted, your personal data is removed from our active systems within 90 days. We keep order, invoice and financial records for the period required by accounting and tax law in Jordan.

8. Security

• All communication between the apps and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).
• Passwords are stored in a hashed form that cannot be reversed.
• Access to data is limited to authorised staff with defined permissions.

No security measure is one hundred percent effective. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you without undue delay.

9. Your rights

At any time you may:

• View the data we hold about you and request a copy.
• Correct or update your data from inside your account or by writing to us.
• Delete your account and data. See the Delete account page.
• Turn off non-essential notifications in the app settings.

10. Children

The platform is for professionals and businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data about them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We publish the new version on this page with its date, and notify you of any material changes when you sign in.
